Mermaids` Makings

Christmas Bells

These are our first Christmas Tree decorations this year. We had lots of fun making them as lil mermaid enjoyed counting the bells, sorting them by the size, choosing colours and painting.

We used the middle part of the egg carton. So from the six egg pack we got only two “bells”. We did have lots of eggs in the fridge already but as we wanted to make some more Christmas bells I had to go to the shop and get more eggs… (Looking for recipes now what do make from so many eggs).

The two middle ones are my daughters` :)

This is what we did: we painted the egg cartons,  my little one helped to choose the pipe cleaners (sparkly ones were her favourite) and rolled little balls from the kitchen foil. So I put the little balls to the pipe cleaners and added some little pearls (lil mermaid  chose of course) to keep the egg carton in place.. made a little hook on top and added a nice ribbon.
