Mermaids` Makings

Around the World in 12 Dishes- Korea

We are on our travels  “Around the World in 12 Dishes” again and this time we landed in Korea and we made a delicious soup!

I got the recipe from here, but as I could not find any Korean radish anywhere, we just used some small ones I could find in the shop.

So this is our recipe:

500 g beef, cut into small pieces

500 g radishes, cut into bite size pieces

3 spring onions, chopped

4 garlic cloves, chopped finely

1 tblsp soup soy sauce

1 tsp salt

7 cups of water

We put the water and radish  into a saucepan, covered and brought  to a boil  and cooked over medium  heat for about 15 minutes.  Then  added the beef and garlic, and cooked for about 25 minutes. Added  soy  sauce, salt and  spring onions. Cooked another 5 minutes and  the soup was done!

Oh and it was so delicious, the whole family enjoyed it!
