Mermaids` Makings

Pipecleaner print fireworks

As the weather was  cold and rainy  we decided to stay home tonight and make our own fireworks. Not real ones though. But I find these printed ones are just as good as the real ones :)

So a  first we designed our background.

Like this one:

Using soft pastels.

Then we made some “fireworks” stamps for printing.

We took seven pipe cleaners.

Twisted  six of them in the middle, so it looked  like a spider.

Now  we twisted the last pipe cleaner around the “spider” to form the  handle.  We bent  the pipe cleaners so that they looked like a round firework.

Now  We squeezed  some paint onto the plate…

…and dipped the “fireworks” stamps  into the paint  and started printing!!!!
