Mermaids` Makings

An Old Top and Lots of Options 2

Vol 1 is here.

As the weather has been nice for a week or so now, we have  taken out our summer clothes and my little one found a top that no longer fits her. So she said that we should make something for the dollshouse with it.I love it when my daughter says “Let’s make something” – she definitely takes after me in that way at least!!

So in only ten minutes I made some curtains…

.. and a bed spread! Isn`t it just beautiful! It looks like I have spent ages embroidering and sewing.. but it only took me five minutes to cut out the front part of the top and sew the edges.

We also have a new kitchen. It is made out of a Godiva chocolate box lid. The box looked so posh I didn`t even have to paint it. For the stove I used round fridge magnets – I just painted them black. Then for the sink I used a fimo bowl I had made a few months ago. I now need to think what I can use for the taps. The tiny china tea set is from “Poundland”- perfect for the tiny dollshouse!

I also now need to think about what I can do about the lighting – our dolls cannot walk around in the dark all the time.

Ole nüüd, need on ju imekerged.
See sait, kus mööbel kirjas oli, on maas.. jube kahju, seal oli väga lahedaid asju. Oleks võinud joonised välja printida. Peab hakkama ise siis disainima :)

A ja see köögimööbel on liimipüstoliga seina kylge pandud. Pappmaja omad panin PVA- ga.

Lambid on kerged, need on munakarbist tehtud. Liimisin lihtsalt PVA- ga, väikese paberitüki panin niidi peale laes.
Kardinapuu on iseenesest pikk grilltikk ja kinnitasin blue tack- iga. Püsib ilusti, ei kuku alla. Hea on ise vajadusel alla võtta.
See väike on ideaalne. Komplekt masab 1 nael.
