Mermaids` Makings

“Scarecrows Party”

No this is not a story about Old McDonald who had a farm.

It`s a story “Scarecrows Party”.

This is another piece of my daughter`s homework- to make puppets to act out a story

These animals are made of loo roll tube and wine corks.

We wanted to find a very easy way of making our animals and came up with this simple solution.  I glued the corks onto the loo roll with a glue gun, then Lil Mermaid cut out a circle shape for the head, and painted a face on. After painting the bodies, we glued on the face and added pipecleaner tails. For the sheep we used cotton wool of course.

This is part of the story which we used our animals for – 6 pages all written and illustrated by Lil Mermaid.

thanks for linking up to Fun Stuff Fridays last week! Such a cute idea! I would have never thought to put wine corks on the bottom of them.
