Mermaids` Makings

Christmas Child

Today we packed a couple of Christmas shoeboxes for children in the poorest countries in the world. My little one is so excited about the project. She really seems to feel for the children who won`t get any Christmas presents and how lucky she is. She keeps on asking questions about whether or not they have chairs and pens and biscuits. I am very happy that we are taking part in this project.

We read a story online  tonight  of the journey of a teddy bear called Mungo who starts his life in a shop, gets bought by a little girl and then gets put in a shoebox and travels to Africa, making a little boy extremely happy.

My daughter  loves teddy bears, and we have already bought a little teddy for the girl’s shoe box. She  was so excited about seeing Mungo going to a little boy that she immediately decided that we needed to buy a bear for the boy’s shoebox too.

On küll jah.

Me oleme ka kunagi ammu ammu saanud.
