Mermaids` Makings

A birthday card and an Easter card

Last week we sent two cards to my brother. This year he (and me for that matter!) is celebrating his birthday at Easter time. I love how the birthday card turned out. You really don`t need any fancy ribbons or other embellishments.. a simple picture drawn by a child is perfect. We did make the card a bit fancier though.. I cut the picture out and stuck it onto the orange background paper with little craft foam pieces.

For the Easter card we used our bubble prints that we made a few months ago. For the chicks we made some fingerprints and then cut them out and again we stuck them onto the card using tiny craft foam pieces.

Before writing our greeting we always stick an extra little sheet of thin paper into the card for the wording. It looks better and if we make any spelling mistakes, it is easy to throw the paper away, take another piece and start over.

Thank you for taking the time to write a comment :)
