Blue Tits and Bullfinches are very popular in children`s art and craft in Estonia during winter time. Bullfinches are very often used on Christmas Cards as well. In England it`s Robin who is the Christmas Cards king.
So yesterday we made some fingerprint Blue Tits and Bullfinches. Well, a lot of them really :)
The background is scrunched up blue paper. After flattening it gently we painted it white.
The background here is from an Estonian nature calendar. For the snowman we folded the paper backwards and forwards like a fan.
Some greeting cards.

Teise pildi tagapõhi on Eestimaa looduse kalendrist. Siin on sõrmejälgedest linnus tehtud valgele paberile ja välja lõigatud. Kleepisime lindude alla väikesed padjakesed, et pilt jääks ruumilisem.
Inglismaal sulas lumi juba peale jõule ära (vähemalt meie kandis), nii, et mõnus on neid lumiseid pilte teha :)

Oh my, these birds are too cute! I love the idea of using calendar pages as backgrounds too, especially since they are native birds. The colours are so beautiful!
