Mermaids` Makings

Two Memory Games

We finally organized our pens and pencils. They all used to be in a big basket. But now they are in these cute tins. Using  a Tupperware can opener, the edges are not sharp. The good thing about them is that we can redecorate whenever we want.  Maybe  snowmen and päkapikks  will appear next Xmas :)

After using these tins there were lots of lovely lids left. They were so cute I didn`t want to throw them into the  recycling box.  So I was looking at this pile…  and thought I would  make a memory game.

I cut out nice greenish circles to decorate one side and for the other side I cut out bigger circles from some  junk mail. Annabel drew some cute picures which I photocopied and  then we coloured them in.. and voila!

After finishing this memory game I saw milk bottle lids on the shelf. I had  collected them  “just in case” :D  So we made another memory game as well. Annabel helped me to write the numbers.

I love both of these projects! The memory game is adorable and I just know the two of you have great fun together playing with it! Annabel’s drawings really make the game extraordinary!

Umbes kuus paari pilte on ootamas.

Linda and Annabel you are the best recyclers I know. The pencil tins are lovely and I like the games too. Very nice!
